Gianfranco Sanguinetti Papers
Italian writer and activist Gianfranco Sanguinetti was a key figure in the Situationist International, a group of intellectuals and artists that blended avant-garde art practices and Marxist theory into a comprehensive critique of capitalist society. The archive consists of 48 boxes of correspondence, writings, documents, ephemera, and photographs.
Fausto Giaccone Papers
The Fausto Giaccone Papers feature photographs, slides, writings, printed material and other papers by, to, or relating to Fausto Giaccone. Holdings include photographs from the student movement protests in Rome between 1966-68, including The Battle of Valle Giulia; Palestinian fedayeen from FPLP training in Jordan, and images from Egypt, summer 1968; Isle of Wight Music Festival, 1970; funeral of a fedayeen killed in combat, Lebanon, 1974; Latin America, 1976, etc. Collection is in Italian.
Dario Fiori Collection
Dario Fiori Collection of Italian Counterculture is an expansive holding spanning c. 1965-1985, and includes underground monographs, periodicals, and broadsides that formed the basis for and fomented protests of this period. The material in this collection coincides with other Beinecke holdings linked to Movimento del '77. Collection is in Italian. Uga La Pietra Papers
This collection includes correspondence, writings, photographs, and printed material and other papers by, to, or relating to the Italian artist, designer, and architect Ugo La Pietra. The bulk of the holdings are photographs or photomontages of projects and works in progress, including "Strutturazioni Tussurali," "Nodi Urbani," "Emergenze Urbane," "Sistema Disequilibrante," "Casa Telematica," "Il Commutatore."
